In 2018, the product type was neck-and-neck with spirits. Beer holding 42.61% share and spirits at 43.20%. Then 2019 came and with it—a drastic shift in buyer behavior. Beer dipped in share a steep -8.05%, all the while spirits grew 7.48%.
