Brewed entirely with New York State hops, Hopstate IPA is our annual tribute to a storied past and a bright future. In the late 1800s, upstate New York produced 80% of the nation’s total hops. The crop was central to the region’s economy, but blight and Prohibition combined to destroy the industry. Today, the NYS hops industry is steadily rebuilding, and we’re proud to play our part by brewing with the fruits of our local farmers.

Tampa Bay brewing florida tart
berliner weiss | 4.2% ABV
A Florida style Berliner Weiss brewed with over 30# of raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries per barrel. This pink beer has aromas of a mixed berry smoothie and fruit tart. The tartness from the lactobacillus and fruit upfront, finishing with a slight taste of sweetness from the fruit and malts.

This beer celebrates our 31st Anniversary, and 31 glorious years of Black Butte Porter. The 2019 version is an Imperial Porter with chocolate, cold brew coffee and cardamom, aged in bourbon barrels.

Hefeweizen
To celebrate all things independent this Independence Day, we’re joining forces with our pals at Revelation Craft Brewing Company to brew two iterations of 'In Tandem' – a special, draft-only collaboration that's releasing on Thursday, July 4. A summer-centric Hefeweizen, In Tandem will be brewed with Sussex County malt and wheat, donated by Proximity Malt in Laurel, Delaware, and local strawberries from Magee Farms in Lewes, Delaware.

brown ale| 12% abv
Our classic Palo Santo Marron is an unfiltered, unfettered and unprecedented, 12% ABV brown ale aged in handmade Paraguayan Palo Santo wood tanks for complex flavors of caramel and vanilla. For this unique iteration of Palo Santo Marron, we took our highly roasty and malty brew, and aged it for one year in rye whiskey barrels.

dogfish head first & farmhouse
wild ale | 9.3% ABV
First & Farmhouse is a wild ale brewed with pilsner malt and loads of malted spelt, flaked oats and flaked triticale. The addition of Jarrylo and Calypso hops during the whirlpool lend fruity aromas of pear and apple. After being fermented with a Farmhouse ale yeast strain and aged in freshly-emptied chardonnay barrels from our friends at Napa Cellars winery, First & Farmhouse was left to cellar with Brettanomyces and Lambicus for more than 18 months. Finally, we blended the very best of these barrels and thoughtfully dry hopped the beer with Citra and Sabro hops to add notes of tangerine and tropical fruit. Golden in color, with a champagne-like carbonation.

The amplified version of Space, Half Acre’s house IPA, which was named after one of the brewery’s first regular customers. Big hops balanced by just-right sweetness.

stone brewing notorious p.o.g.
berliner weisse| 4.7% ABV
We’ve had plenty of fan-favorite beers over the years, but few have garnered the cult-like adoration of this one. Stone Notorious P.O.G. was originally brewed at our 10bbl Liberty Station brewhouse in San Diego, as a collaboration with comedian / actor Jonah Ray. It’s a tribute to the passion fruit, orange and guava juice (aka POG) he grew up drinking in Hawaii. This Berliner Weisse-style ale is loaded with the aforementioned trifecta of fresh, tropical fruits, making for a unique flavor that’s tart and refreshing yet deeply rich and complex. It’s as ridiculously tasty as it is deliciously unique.
