You'll be able to find and discover our products via Provi, it just looks different than the SevenFifty interface. Over the coming weeks, we will be assembling quick tutorial videos to help your buyers navigate through the marketplace experience.

Here are specific tips around features on how to optimize your search experience: 

•  Suggested Search Dropdown: When you search for a product on Provi, there is a dropdown of suggested results that will aid your process. For example, if you search “Bordeaux”, a suggested search for products in the region Bordeaux will appear, as will suggested searches for appellations in that region. Clicking on either option will produce products that fit those descriptions, helping you find the right product faster.

• Filter Combinations: With Provi, you can combine multiple sort options on search results to quickly find specific products or provide options within a set of parameters. An example would be combining the size filter – such as 750ml bottles – and the price filter to find specific wines or spirits in a defined price range. You can then combine even more filters to narrow down the results to find the best options for you.

• Alphabetical Sort: Search results can be sorted from both A-Z and Z-A to easily find products at either end of the alphabet. 

Ads on Provi exist to deliver a better experience for you. The first goal with ads is to show you relevant product suggestions and help you understand what is available in your market. The Provi team understands they still have some work to do to fully get this experience right, but they are actively working on improving ad relevance and frequency in order to achieve that goal. The second goal is centered around generating and allocating resources to better the overall experience on Provi’s marketplace. Essentially, ad revenue funds innovation. Provi is able to re-invest money made from ads into building a better technology for beverage trade professionals and most importantly, keep the service free to you, the buyer.

Yes! Provi recently released the following filters to enhance your search experience: 

• Vintage and region filters: You can filter search results by country and/or region, allowing for narrow or broad searches.
• Price filters: View products by price range and see price directly in search results
• Specific SKUs: Ability to search by SKU

The Provi team is continually updating and adding to these filters, among other features. So if you don’t see the marketplace doing something you want, you might soon.

Provi’s data team is diligently working on adding more detail to each product description. They have already updated products with pricing, product categorization, grape varieties, grape and raw materials, distributor storefronts to Product Listing Pages (PLP), additional product metadata images, geography features, product descriptions, product images, producer descriptions, ABV, and automated features. They are continually adding new features and expect additional product improvements to come.
